Who Are We?
We are the official PyData Chapter of Mumbai. We are governed by the global PyData Code of Conduct. PyData is an educational program of NumFocus which is the parent organization that maintains projects like Jupyter Notebook, Scikit-Learn, Julia, Pandas and a lot more. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers who are data engineers, data analyst and data scientist to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies encircling around data engineering, data analytics and data science.
Our journey started in 2017.
Our Journey So Far :We as a community get together and organize meetups twice a month on various data related topics, sharing knowledge about industry best practices, how-tos, hands-on workshops, informal discussions and/or latest methods to solve a particular problem.
Our Mission- To create and open data ecosystem and educate people about the power of open source
- To motivate more young individuals or early career professionals to embrace open data principals and help each other within the community to mutually grow towards being a fine Data Scientists / Engineers.
- To help the budding Data Data Scientist / Engineers grow into a professional that he/she always dreams of
- To nurture the open source ecosystem and make it a viable foundation to develop and expand Open Data Ecosystem.
- Building a community or a forum with senior, mid-senior, early career and student Data Scientist and Engineers which could be a viable source of help incase one gets stuck.
